Hi 👋 I’m Melissa,
I build flexible and strategic brands supported by scalable marketing solutions and thoughtful digital touchpoints.
I started my career in Orlando, Florida as the catch-all designer for a start-up in the plant and flower industry. Over my time with Dymak, they grew rapidly and I learned to problem-solve, adapt, and lead a small team, earning promotions and eventually the role of US Marketing Manager. My experience was formative and exciting, taking me across the US and Europe for trade shows, photoshoots, and product development sprints.
After four years, I left to pursue agency work and expand my expertise. I started as a graphic designer with Red Rocket Studios (RRS) in 2021 and worked my way up to the Associate Creative Director by 2025.
At RRS, I had the opportunity to direct video and photoshoots, design trade show booths, launch brands, execute media campaigns, craft interactive digital experiences, and so much more. I learned media strategy, motion design, AI integration, web design and I continue to dedicate myself to lifelong learning and creating work that exceeds expectations.
In the Summer of 2025, my husband and I packed up our little life and moved to New York City.
I'm currently collaborating with clients in the mental health and tech industries, interested in the cross-section of technology and social advocacy where meaningful change can have the greatest impact.
When I'm not designing, you can find me moonlighting as an aerialist, crafting into the wee hours of the night, meandering through a museum, or watching The X-Files with my favorite people.
